Léotoing Château
The original castle was built around the year 1060, but was not considered large and strong enough. It Château the Léotoing is next strengthened and enlarged in the 13th century. The castle has been owned by many families, and eventually fell into disrepair from the 16th century and is now only a ruin. the rest of the village has remained intact and is very nice to walk around. It is only 8.5 km from the hotel, and the route along the Alagnon River is nice to see. Who knows, you might even see wild deer and boar along the way!

Ruin of Leotoing on the mountain

Because the chateau is located on a mountain, the garden is also stepped. Very special to see how they used to do that.

Deer photographed in the valley of the Alagnon.
